LaDonna Syverson, 83, of Sleepy Eye, and most recently of Pensacola, Fla. died Friday, July 28 in the comfort of her nursing home.
LaDonna Syverson, 83, of Sleepy Eye, and most recently of Pensacola, Fla. died Friday, July 28 in the comfort of her nursing home. The family will receive guests at the Brohlin home located at 715 3rd Ave NE in Sleepy Eye on Friday, Aug. 18 from 3 to 5 p.m. to remember Donna and share stories.
Donna was born Aug. 29, 1933 to Leslie and Rosalind Kuelbs. Donna enjoyed the many children she cared for as a babysitter and the company of her coworkers at the Sleepy Eye Chiropractic where she worked for many years. Donna was a mother, friend, and grandmother. She will be remembered for her love of fishing, bingo, the Minnesota Twins, and her family.
She is survived by one brother, Don Kuelbs, and his wife, Betty; three daughters: Deborah Lajti and her husband Rick, Stacey Tuckwell and her partner Gina, and Darcy Syverson and her partner Rose; and three granddaughters: Jessica, Ashley and Abigail. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Jim Syverson, who passed away Dec. 21, 2009.
