August FFA Students of the Month

Kayden Klein is a senior and has been in FFA for five years. Kayden joined FFA because he wanted to be with his friends. He is serving as the Chapter Treasurer this year and likes that he gets to handle the money. Kayden is on the Poultry CDE team and enjoys learning how to judge chickens. Kayden’s Supervised Ag. Experience (SAE) consists of working at Dairy Queen. His favorite FFA activity is the Lock-ins. He is looking forward to attending State Convention in the Spring. Since joining Ag. Classes, Kayden has learned leadership and communication skills. Kayden is proud of placing 1st overall individual for Quiz Bowl at the National FFA Convention.

 

Ari Krzmarzick  is a senior and has been in FFA for five years. Ari joined FFA to be a part of the community. Ari is on the Meats Evaluation Career Development Event (CDE) team and likes that it is a fun and competitive contest. Ari’s Supervised Ag. Experience (SAE) consists of working at Cunningham Seed Farms. His favorite FFA activity is attending Timberland Camp. Since joining FFA, Ari has learned important life and leadership skills. Ari is proud of being a silver emblem individual in the poultry CDE at nationals.

 

Elsie Trebesch is a ninth grader and has been in FFA for three years. Elsie joined FFA to be more involved in her community and learn more about agriculture. Elsie is on the Floriculture Career Development Event (CDE) team and likes being able to create floral arrangements and corsages. Her favorite FFA activity is Timberland Camp. Since joining FFA, Elsie has learned how to show beef and sheep and gain experience working with her animals. Elsie is proud of earning 2nd place at Regions for Floriculture.

 

 

 


Carsten Nienhaus is a ninth grader and has been in FFA for three years. Carsten joined FFA because his older brother told him about it and he wanted to learn more. Carsten participates in the Poultry Evaluation CDE. He likes it because he gets to learn more about the animals he raises. His favorite FFA activity is FFA State Convention. Carsten is looking forward to competing in his CDE at Regions this Fall. While being in Ag. Classes and FFA, Carsten has learned more about poultry and woodworking. Carsten is proud of winning Champion for FFA Poultry Herdsmanship at the Minnesota State
