In recognition of Fire Prevention, the Sleepy Eye Fire Department is holding an open house at the station on Oct. 8. The evening will begin with Operation EDITH at 5:30 p.m. followed by the open house from 6 to 8 p.m.
During Operation EDITH the department will drive fire trucks, sirens blaring, through town as a reminder for residents to review/practice their Exit Drill In The Home.
