Minnesota FFA Association Names Hoffmann Executive Director

It is with great enthusiasm that the MN FFA Adult Board of Directors announces the hiring of Mrs. Mary Hoffmann as the new Executive Director of the Minnesota FFA Association. Hoffmann will assume the role on August 18th, 2025. Hoffmann brings three decades of experience in Agricultural Education and FFA, as well as immense passion and leadership to our organization. We are excited about the future of Minnesota FFA under her guidance.

Hoffmann joins us with 30 years of dedicated service in secondary agricultural education, having taught seventh through twelfth grade. Her academic background is a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls. Her commitment to education is evident through her work as an Agricultural Education Instructor in Sleepy Eye, MN, for the past 19 years, as well as her previous teaching positions in Wisconsin for 11 years. Hoffmann has impressive achievements with the Sleepy Eye FFA Chapter and has held leadership positions on many boards and committees at the local, regional, state, and national levels.

With these leadership experiences, she has been able to collaborate with others and be a part of many different teams working to keep Agricultural Education and FFA moving forward in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and across the nation. Some of these include: Minnesota Association of Agricultural Educators (MAAE) Region VI Director, State Teach Ag. Results Committee, MAAE Officer, National Association of Agricultural Educators (NAAE) Board Member, and National Council for Agricultural Education Chair.

Throughout her career, Hoffmann has demonstrated a wealth of working knowledge of FFA Chapter Membership (traditional and affiliate), Budgets, Chapter Operations, Degrees, Officer Training, Chapter and Individual Awards, Grants, and more. Hoffmann has led a team of three Ag. teachers/FFA Advisors in her department to achieve success in her community, region, state, and nation.

As the new Executive Director, Hoffmann is eager to guide and grow Minnesota FFA and support our state’s FFA Advisors. Her vision and passion for agricultural education will be invaluable as we continue to empower the next generation of leaders in agriculture.

Please join me in congratulating Mrs. Mary Hoffmann on her new role within the Minnesota FFA family. We are confident that her leadership will bring new opportunities and successes for our members, advisors, and communities, as well as take the Minnesota FFA Association to new heights.

The National FFA is a national organization developing students’ potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education with 1,027,273 members in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
