Minnesota State University, Mankato awarded 2,917 degrees to 2,463 students at the end of the spring 2026 semester.
Commencement ceremonies were held Friday, May 8 at 3 p.m. for the College of Business and at 6 p.m. for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Commencement ceremonies were held Saturday, May 9 at 9 a.m. for the College of Science, Engineering and Technology, at 12 p.m. for the College of Education and at 3 p.m. for the College of Allied Health and Nursing.
All ceremonies were held in Taylor Center’s Bresnan Arena on the Minnesota State Mankato campus.

Advanced degrees awarded by Minnesota State Mankato at the conclusion of the spring semester included six doctor of education degrees, 13 doctor of nursing practice degrees and five doctor of school psychology degrees.
Graduate degrees awarded included 53 master of arts degrees, 16 master of accounting degrees, seven master of arts in teaching degrees, 16 master of business administration degrees, 13 master of fine arts degrees, one master of public health degree, 368 master of science degrees, 29 master of social work degrees, 10 professional science master’s degrees, 25 specialist in educational leadership degrees and 195 graduate certificates.
Degrees awarded at the undergraduate level included 52 bachelor of arts degrees, two bachelor of applied science degrees, 38 bachelor of business administration degrees, 18 bachelor of fine arts degrees, 1,637 bachelor of science degrees, 12 bachelor of science in civil engineering degrees, nine bachelor of science in integrated engineering degrees, four bachelor of science in computer engineering degrees, 15 bachelor of science in electrical engineering degrees, 38 bachelor of science in mechanical engineering degrees, 32 bachelor of science in social work degrees, 36 associate of arts degrees and 267 undergraduate certificates.
Undergraduate students receiving recognition included 526 students graduating summa cum laude (3.8 grade point average and higher), 335 students graduating magna cum laude (grade point averages of 3.6 to 3.79) and 324 students graduating cum laude (grade point averages of 3.4 to 3.59).
