The Sleepy Eye Area Food Shelf recently honored two of its longest serving volunteers by presenting them with engraved clocks.
Both Randy Krzmarzick and Kamakshi Murthy were given the clocks, which were personalized and said “In appreciation for 40 years with many hours of service to the Sleepy Eye Food Shelf.”
Krzmarzick and Murthy were both part of the group that founded the local food shelf in the 1980s and they have remained since then as board members and volunteers helping to serve the needs of local people experiencing food insecurity.
