Six people were hurt in a Sibley County crash Friday afternoon. The state patrol was called at 2:26 pm to a collision between a Buick Enclave and a Jeep Grand Cherokee on Highway 5 in Washington Lake Township.
Authorities say the Jeep was driven by 33-year-old Katelyn Bjorklund of Arlington. She and her passengers 31-year-old Elizabeth Mcgarvey of Shakopee and an infant were taken to Arlington Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Buick was driven by 49-year-old Nathan Stevermer of Sleepy Eye. He and passengers 50-year-old Nicole Stevermer and 10-year-old Henry John Stevermer were all taken to Waconia Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities say there was snow and ice on the road. Green Isle Fire, Hamburg Fire, Ridgeview Arlington and Gaylord ambulances and the Sibley County Sheriff’s Offices assisted at the scene.
