Members and third graders had milk and cookies while discussing their favorite things.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By: Chloe Howe, Chapter Reporter<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The end of the year is a time to wrap up the Wee Deliver PALS Program for FFA members.\u00a0 We had get-together events for both schools with their third grade buddies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Wee Deliver Program ended with a \u201cMy Favorites\u201d activity and milk and cookies with their buddies. WEE DELIVER BUDDIES:\u00a0<u>W<\/u>hen\u00a0<u>E<\/u>veryone is\u00a0<u>E<\/u>xcited about\u00a0<u>D<\/u>oing\u00a0<u>E<\/u>xcellent work\u00a0<u>L<\/u>earning\u00a0<u>I<\/u>s\u00a0<u>V<\/u>ery\u00a0<u>E<\/u>njoyable and\u00a0<u>R<\/u>ewarding.\u00a0<u>B<\/u>y\u00a0<u>U<\/u>nderstanding that\u00a0<u>D<\/u>oing things in\u00a0<u>D<\/u>uos\u00a0<u>I<\/u>s\u00a0<u>E<\/u>ncouraging, we attain\u00a0<u>S<\/u>uccess!<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This program involved 54 FFA members writing letters to third-grade students at the Sleepy Eye Schools. The FFA truly appreciates the cooperation from all of the third-grade teachers: Mrs. Sittig and Mrs. Jensen from Sleepy Eye Public, and Mrs. Mathiowetz from St. Mary\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The purpose of the program is to connect high school students with elementary students by writing letters back and forth over the year in order to get to know each other better, as well as to practice writing skills for the students.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through the Wee Deliver Program, FFA members have the opportunity to serve as role models for the elementary students while also creating friendships.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By: Chloe Howe, Chapter Reporter The end of the year is a time to wrap up the Wee Deliver PALS Program for FFA members.\u00a0 We had get-together events for both schools with their third grade buddies.
