He received last rites and was\u00a0anointed before his passing in accordance with the traditions of his\u00a0catholic faith. Visitation and rosary were held in Missoula on\u00a0November 26, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Doug was born on August 2, 1966 in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. He was\u00a0the third child of Raymond and Delores (Landkammer) Sellner.\u00a0Doug received his education from St. Mary&#8217;s Catholic School of\u00a0Sleepy Eye and graduated in 1984. Throughout his years in\u00a0Minnesota, Doug worked as an Assistant manager for several\u00a0grocery stores and as a delivery driver for Archway Cookies,\u00a0Hostess, and Sara Lee. His favorite job was working as a Custodial\u00a0Engineer for St. Peter High School. During his time there, he made\u00a0many friends and mentored several students.<\/p>\n<p>In 1986, Doug met Linda Mattson, with whom he went on to share\u00a0three daughters and two step-sons. Doug and Linda were married\u00a0from 1993 to 1997. Doug moved to St. Peter, MN in 1997 and\u00a0resided there until 2018. While living in St. Peter, he was blessed to\u00a0serve as a father figure to the children of two other long-term\u00a0romantic partners. Doug made a long-distance love connection in\u00a02015 when he met Colleen Underwood online. In 2018, the couple\u00a0married and moved to her home state of Montana where they\u00a0resided until his death.<\/p>\n<p>As a boy, Doug&#8217;s favorite pastimes were hunting, driving go-carts,\u00a0playing sports, and video games. As he grew up he\u00a0added snowmobiling and driving motorcycles to his list of\u00a0hobbies. One could most often find Doug cheering on the MN\u00a0Vikings; hunting with his dogs; fishing; or relaxing outdoors\u00a0with family and friends. Doug&#8217;s loved ones remember him as a\u00a0fun-loving sports nut with a cornball sense of humor and\u00a0insatiable sweet tooth. One of his favorite things in the world\u00a0was to give his loved ones nicknames. Many friends and family\u00a0have had those nicknames stick with them throughout their\u00a0entire lives and that&#8217;s a legacy Doug would be incredibly happy\u00a0to leave behind.<\/p>\n<p>Doug is survived by his wife, Colleen (Underwood) Sellner;\u00a0daughters, Vanessa (Sellner) Mattson Normandin and husband\u00a0Brad, Shannice Sellner and partner Cody Persinger, and\u00a0Shaylene Sellner; sisters, Deborah (Sellner) Booze, Chandra\u00a0(Sellner) Krenz and husband Mark, and Stacy (Sellner) Walter\u00a0and husband Jeff; step-children; Catie Armstrong and husband\u00a0Cody, Curtis Wilson and wife Dani, and Stephanie Wilson;\u00a0former step-sons Clinton and Justin Zeitz; and several\u00a0grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.\u00a0Doug was preceded in death by his parents; numerous aunts\u00a0and uncles; and beloved pets.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Douglas Raymond Sellner died at age 58 on November 21, 2024 at\u00a0his home in Missoula, Montana.
