She served in those roles until 2000, always putting patients first and ensuring they felt supported during their care.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">In 2013, Wendy returned to SEMC and took on new roles&#8211;utilization review, transitional care management, and serving as our Health Care Home care coordinator. In these positions, she has been a strong advocate for patients, helping them navigate their health journeys, bridging communication between patients and care teams, and ensuring ongoing support beyond the walls of SEMC.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">When asked what she&#8217;ll miss most, Wendy shared that it&#8217;s the people: her coworkers and her patients.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Wendy, thank you for your incredible (almost) 29 years of service across both chapters of your SEMC career.
