The Sleepy Eye FFA Chapter has completed its trap shooting season. There were four shoots for the season: Springfield, Mt. Lake, Sleepy Eye, and Windom.<\/p>\n

Trap shooting is one of the three major forms of competitive\u00a0clay pigeon shooting<\/a>. The objective of the trap shooting team is to involve students in the highest standards of safety, sportsmanship, ethical behavior, along with safe and responsible use of firearms. The program also helps members develop self-confidence, personal discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork.<\/p>\n

The 2025 Sleepy Eye FFA Trap Shoot Team Members who participated in the shoots this year included: Trevor Rathman, Aiden Krzmarzick, Ari Krzmarzick, Davin Suess, Gavin Fischer, Jacob Fulmer, Kaden Braun, Logan Ludewig, Noah Rossbach, Oliver Trebesch, Elsie Trebesch, Shea Evers, Grayson Hansen, Briella Walser, Graysen Evers, Wyatt Feucht, Ethan Feucht, Jaxon Steffl, Rylan Trebesch, Jax Como, Carsten Nienhaus, Riley Eckstein-Sprenger, Kylie Fischer, Ridley Price, Mason Schottenbauer, and Breckin Peterson.<\/p>\n

Highlights from each of the shoots include:<\/p>\n

Springfield Shoot \u2013 Top Sleepy Eye Team placed 3rd; Kaden Braun – 6th Place Individual Shooter<\/p>\n

(25 total teams, 95 total shooters)<\/p>\n

Mt. Lake Shoot \u2013 Top Sleepy Eye Team placed 3rd; Noah Rossbach – 2nd Place Individual Shooter, Gavin Fischer – 4th Place Individual Shooter, Jacob Fulmer – 6th Place Individual Shooter, Kaden Braun – 7th Place Individual Shooter (24 total teams, 99 total shooters)<\/p>\n

Sleepy Eye Shoot \u2013 Top Sleepy Eye Team placed 3rd; Kaden Braun – 2nd Place Individual Shooter, Noah Rossbach – 5th Place Individual Shooter<\/p>\n

(24 total teams, 96 total shooters)<\/p>\n

Windom Shoot \u2013 Top Sleepy Eye Team placed 1st; Ari Krzmarzick, 2nd Place Individual Shooter, Kaden Braun – 5th place individual shooter (21 total teams, 81 total shooters)<\/p>\n

This year the team was sponsored by the Sleepy Eye Sportsman\u2019s Club, Darfur Sportsman\u2019s Club, Brown County Pheasants Forever, and MDHA Sunrise Chapter. They sponsored shooting registration fees and team shirts, and sweatshirts.\u00a0 Their support is much appreciated by the team members!\u00a0 The team had a great season and is looking forward to next year!<\/p>\n
