Beginning January 1, 2026, Sleepy Eye Medical Center (SEMC) and Clinics will no longer be part of the Allina Aetna Advantage Plan provider network.\u00a0 This change means that SEMC and Clinics will be considered out of network for patients who continue with the Allina Aetna Advantage Plan next year.\u00a0 \u201cWe want to ensure our patients and community members are aware of this change during Medicare\u2019s open enrollment period,\u201d said Todd Consbruck, Administrator at SEMC. \u201cAlthough this decision was made by Allina Aetna, our priority is helping patients understand their options and support them through this change.\u201d<\/p>\n
Allina Aetna has notified its members affected by this change, and SEMC has also mailed letters to patients currently enrolled in the Allina Aetna Medicare Advantage Plan to ensure they are aware and supported through the transition.\u00a0 Several other Medicare plan options for 2026 do include SEMC and Clinics.
