She has also been a school board member including chairman for several years.<\/p>\n<p>Teacher, coach and athletic director Cory Haala along with teacher and coach Kris Bloedel both spoke highly of all she has contributed to making their jobs easier. (View above video)<\/p>\n<p>Darla&#8217;s dad, Mel Cook, and uncle Duke Cook, received the same honor in 2013.
