GFWC Qui Vive Club September Meeting Report
GFWC Qui Vive Club met September 5 at the home of Pat Stevermer. Officers for the year include Shirley Cannon, President, Lillian Stimpert, Vice President and Pat Stevermer, Secretary-Treasurer.
Plans were made for the year including monthly get-togethers, providing treats for the birthday parties at Sleepy Eye Care Center and Divine Providence Home, sponsoring the 500 marathon group, and tying fleece blankets.
Members will share information about things that have been made in America for the monthly roll call. Some of the items discussed in September were bubble wrap, scotch tape, Crayola, and Scrabble.
A monetary donation was made to the GFWC International Day of Service for Scholarships for Survivors being the theme for the September 27th event.
Reports from the Minnesota State GFWC Convention held in Burnsville in May and the International GFWC Convention held in Atlanta, GA were noted.
The next meeting will be on Thursday, October 2 at the home of Lillian Stimpert
